Mass Contact Module

If you are looking for a way to contact you site authenticated users this is by far the easiest module for the job.

After enabling the module go to the admin/build/mass_contact and add a category. The categories can be made for each type of contact or authenticated user you have. So, for one site I used authenticated user for the general user but had assigned other roles to the users based on the interest of that user. The I could "Mass Contact" just that group for a more specific deal on my site.

When adding a category make sure to set the default to yes on at least one category. The module didn't work for me until I did this.

From here go to the settings tab and set up the module. It is in my opinion a good idea to add your contact info and email here. Plus it is a really good idea to let your recipients opt out if they want. Just courteous IMHO.

So now your module is set up but wait. Where do you go to input your email to be mass emailed? Go to admin/build/menu-customize/navigation and enable the menu item for mass contact. It's off by default.

Wallah! The form is ready for completing and sending to your authenticated users or other roles should you chose to create them.
